DOG FOULING.

The Parish Council would like to remind all dog walkers that they are

obliged by local by-law to clear up after their dog fouls.

This should then be disposed of in the correct manner, by placing it in one of

the many dog bins provided or taken home and disposed of in your own bin,

not someone else's and certainly not left on the pathway or grass verges. Please also do not leave a full dog bag on the footpath or verge even if you intend to remove it on your return- too often people forget!

Offenders who do not clear up after their dogs will be reported to South Norfolk Council and could be issued with a fixed penalty notice of £100.

It is hoped, by this reminder, that we can reduce dog fouling and abandoned dog poo bags in the villages of Rockland St Mary and Hellington.
